APRIL 2010 - The value of a volunteer hour is currently estimated at $20.85. Volunteers log in over 10,000 hours each year at The Source. That amounts to an annual contribution of nearly a quarter of a million dollars. Client volunteer hours account for over half of this contribution.
The Source paid tribute to our volunteers by throwing a 1950’s-style Ice Cream Social on April 22nd, 2010. This event was held in conjunction with National Volunteer Appreciation week at the First Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
