"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good." ~Samuel Johnson
The Source has served Indian River Co. since 1995, providing Christ-centered care for our most vulnerable citizens. Since the hurricanes of 2004, we have seen a rapid and substantial increase in the number of clients we serve annually. We have also been challenged by the growing complexity in the types of services our clients require. We have responded with increased staffing, more programs, and a wider network of community partners. The love of Christ compels us to act.
An estimated 741 people are homeless in Indian River County on any given day. Why are these people homeless?
