Welcome to the Heaven Sent Thrift Shoppe

The Heaven Sent Thrift Shoppe offers high-quality discount shopping for the conscientious consumer.

Thrift store resale ministry opened to benefit The Source and to be a "blessing to everyone."

Heaven Sent is Vero's newest upscale thrift store.  It is open Tuesday through Saturday and presents previously owned furniture, household goods, curios, clothing, toys, and many more items that are truly “heaven sent.”  While revenue from the new thrift store directly benefits The Source, Heaven Sent is in the business to be a blessing to the entire community.

“The residents of Vero Beach can use a place like this for both affordable shopping and donating good-quality merchandise, all for a worthy cause,” says Tom King, President and Executive Director of The Source.  The Source serves all of Indian River County as a Christian outreach and resource center for people who are homeless or nearly homeless.  The ministry provides daily hot meals, emergency food, clothing, counseling, support groups, job referrals, housing solutions and a host of other services.

Gaye King, Administrator of The Source, was the inspiration behind the Heaven Sent Thrift Shoppe.  She is known throughout the community for her perseverance and creativity in meeting the needs of our most vulnerable residents.  Heaven Sent is an extension of this ministry toward men, women and families who are in crisis.
